About Rope Access

Since the 1980s, industrial rope access has experienced significant safety advancements. This method, used for working at heights and in challenging environments, has evolved due to rigorous training and technological innovations.

Technicians blend their trade skills with rope access training to meet clients' needs in various fields of application. These developments prioritise both technician safety and work quality, in collaboration with trade workers.

The industry recommends having a Rope Access Level 3 safety supervisor at all rope access job sites. This qualification is intended for experienced technicians who must accumulate a minimum of 2 years of work experience and 2,000 approved working hours, in addition to completing required training, before they can oversee the safety aspects of rope access.
